Unisync Corp FY20 sales rise 19% to $93 mn

Unisync Corp, a Canada-based provider of work wear and personal protective apparel, has reported 19 per cent sales growth to $93.1 million (Canadian dollars) in its full fiscal 2020 ended on September 30, 2020 compared to sales of $78.0 million in previous fiscal. However, company incurred a net loss of $1.0 million (FY19: $4.0 million).
Company’s gross profit for FY20 was $17.4 million. General and administrative expenses were $16.4 million.
Company reported that UGL segment revenues rose to $73.6 million due to increase in revenue from the segment’s second largest airline account on a new uniform rollout that was completed in the first half of the year prior to the onset of the covid-19 pandemic travel restrictions. While Peerless segment revenue were $20.7 million.
