UBM Asia announces that it has appointed Paul Wan as Managing Director of UBM Asia Trade Fairs Pte Ltd in Singapore with effect from 1 November, 2011.
Paul joined UBM Asia in September 2005 as Deputy Jewellery Fairs Manager to lead the jewellery sales network on UBM Asia's eight jewellery exhibitions in Hong Kong and China, including the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, the world's largest jewellery event. He was promoted to Jewellery Fairs Manager in January 2010.
Before joining UBM Asia, Paul was the General Manager of Pico Hong Kong Ltd and Chongqing Pico Exhibition Service Company Ltd. Paul will take over from Michiel Kruse, who decided to leave the company to pursue different opportunities after having served the company for two years.

Under his leadership, UBM Asia's jewellery sales network plays a conducive role in the growth of our jewellery exhibitions outside Hong Kong and China, namely Japan, India and Turkey. I am confident that, with Paul's solid experience in exhibition, we will unleash even greater business potentials in Singapore and the region by further leveraging our strong network. On behalf of the company, I would also like to thank Michiel for his valuable contribution to UBM Asia's business in Singapore and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
