Footwear forum AYSAF receives huge interest

The exhibitors in AYSAF, signed agreements with purchasers from Europe, Balkans, Middle East, North Africa and Russia.

AYSAF, the largest trade platform of the footwear sub-industry sector with a market volume of 4 billion USD in Turkey, was organized in the CNR Expo Istanbul between 29 February-03 March 2012 for the 47th time.

AYSAF, brought local and global supplier companies and professional visitors together. 3000 foreing visitors visited AYSAF and total number of professional visitors were 22500. AYSAF exhibitors found the opportunity to promote their new season products to internal and external markets.

Organized by the Pozitif Fuarcilik A.S., an affiliate of the CNR Holding, AYSAF-Istanbul International Footwear Suppliers Fair, was organized with the support of; Association of Turkish Footwear Components Manufacturers (AYSAD), Turkish Foundation for Research, Development and Education (TASEV) and Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade and Industry Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB).

Purchasing delegations from numerous countries visited AYSAF such as; Germany, Belgium, UK, Italy, France, Morocco, Tunisia, Bulgaria, Algeria, Iran, Lebanon, the Czech Republic, Yemen, Russia and Ukraine and purchasers came to find new business contacts at AYSAF. A buyer delegation consisting of 10 companies organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Moldova also had meetings with exhibitors.

Approximately 30 foreign companies attended AYSAF- Istanbul International Footwear Suppliers Fair. Italy, India, Agentina, Poland, Hong Kong, Georgia and China attended AYSAF. Beside local companies, also foreign companies attended to AYSAF such as; Stella (Italy), Limonta (Italy), Travetti (Italy), Supertannery (India), Philimaska (Georgia) and Borpelle (Poland) and Finproject, one of the biggest companies of the Italian footwear supplier, exhibited their products at AYSAF.

Purchasing delegations came from various cities such as Denizli, Bursa, Gerede/Bolu and Konya with the organisation of the Pozitif Fuarcilik A.S. And they had meetings with exhibitors.

The following companies exhibited their products at AYSAF; Muya, Ziylan, Opak, Tuba, Küçük Köseleci, Alkan, Türkkan, Tuse, Sert and Teknotab in the sole section; Fatih, Haka, On-ar, Cemtas, Asil, Remzi and Kadem in the mold section; Kopüs, Eurotak and Fatih in the heel section; Özsahin, Erdogdu, Duyar, Bilsan and Tetas in the suppliers section. Elit, Megatek, Dededen, Prestij, Mega, Erenler and Schöen presented their products in the machinery section.

Cihan, Derimsan, Çubukçuoglu, Kazim Süren, Birdallar, Turgut Kardesler, Modas, Tess and Kardersan in the leather section and Oynurden (Denlaks), Bes-Güçlü, Kimteks, Polimeks and Rota Kimya in the chemistry section, exhibited their products.

Within the scope of the fair, sole, mold, heel, sub-industry, chemistry and artificial, raw and semi-finished leather products were exhibited in the Halls 6 and 7, leather and machineries were exhibited in the Hall 8 in CNR Expo Centre.

The 48th AYSAF Fair will be organized between 20-23 September 2012.
