NCC 2008 Annual Meeting at Peabody Hotel

National Cotton Council's Communications Services organise the National Cotton Council's '08 Annual Meeting at The Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Feb. 7-11.
NCC Chairman John Pucheu will give a report at the Feb. 11 general session. That session also will feature Gloria Borger, senior political analyst for CNN and a political columnist for U.S. News and World Report. The Annual Meeting schedule and other information are available at the web site above.
Among other important convention sessions will be the Feb. 8 American Cotton Producers meeting where the NCC's planting intentions ('08) survey results will be announced.
On Feb. 9, the delegates will hear the NCC's Economic Outlook and a report from Cotton Incorporated's J. Berrye Worsham prior to the NCC's six program committees convening. The National Cotton Ginners Association also will hold its annual meeting that afternoon.
The Saturday luncheon will feature Tom DeFrank, a veteran political journalist and author who is the Washington bureau chief of the New York Daily News. One of Washington's most respected President-watchers, his presentation will provide personal anecdotes of every president since Richard Nixon.
