SAFTA symposium at BARC Centre!

On January 23, the BARC Centre Inn, at Mohakhali, Dhaka, is going to hold a two-day regional seminar titled 'South Asian Free Trade Area (SAFTA) and its implementations for the member countries and service trade liberalization in South Asia'.
The organizers of the event are South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (SANEM), a regional research organization, Commonwealth Secretariat and CUTS International.
The event is organized on the event of First Anniversary of SANEM. A book launching program will be held here and Prof. Rehman Sobhan will grace this occassion as the chief guest.
During the seminar, the two books to be opened are 'Venturing into a Quota Free World: The Ready-Made Garment Industry in Bangladesh' and 'Dynamics of Trade Liberalisation in Bangladesh: Analysis of Policies and Practices'.
