ISM White Paper to provide guidance on training paths

A new white paper developed by the Arizona-based Institute for Supply Management (ISM) will stimulate thought and provide direction from which professional development goals can be established for an individual or the entire organization.
The document, Supply Management Professional Development Paths, is available on the ISM Web site. Select Education – Seminars, Conferences/Professional Development Services.
The document will provide guidance on training paths for entry-level to senior-level supply professionals. Additionally, the document also provides direction for cross-functional positions relating to supply management.
The report used the following research and source documents to determine content areas:
• The Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) qualification
• SMART assessment tool
• CAPS Research focus studies
• ISM public seminar curriculum
