ASSOCHAM to organize Post Budget Seminars

The Union Budget is an annual exercise, which brings with itself gripping excitement, loads of clarifications besides channelising entrepreneurial activity in a subtle yet certain manner.

With the objective of reviewing various budgetary provisions, assessing their impact and seeking clarifications on fiscal and other measures, ASSOCHAM is organizing Post Budget Seminars in Delhi, Mumbai & Bangalore as below:

- Saturday, 1st March 2008 - New Delhi - 5.30 p.m. - ASSOCHAM House, 47, Prithviraj Road, Opp. Safdarjung Tomb, New Delhi 110 011
- Monday, 3rd March 2008 - Mumbai - 9.30 a.m. - Hotel Leela Kempinski, Sahar, Andheri (East), Mumbai
- Tuesday, 4th March 2008 - Bangalore - 9.30 a.m. - Hotel The Grand Ashok, Kumara Krupa High Ground, Bangalore

We have requested Dr. Shubhashis Gangopadhyay, Advisor to Hon'ble Finance Minister, Shri P.V. Bhide, Revenue Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Shri S.K. Shingal, Chairman, CBEC and Shri R. Prasad, Chairman, CBDT to address and share their views with the participants at the seminar.

Other Speakers would include Shri J.M.K. Sekhar, Member (Budget), CBEC, Shri P.C. Jha, Member (Central Excise & Service Tax), CBEC, Shri A.J. Majumdar, Member (Legal & Computerisation), CBDT, Shri R. Sekar, Joint Secretary (TRU), CBEC and Shri Arbind Modi, Joint Secretary (TPL), CBDT, Ministry of Finance and Chief Commissioners / Director Generals (Income Tax, Service Tax, Central Excise) of the respective Cities.

Since the seats are limited and shall be made available on first-cum-first served basis we request to register yourself and also nominate your colleagues for the same as early as possible.
