CII Business Delegation to visit Tehran

The potential areas of cooperation exists between India and Iran include Steel, Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemicals, Automobile, Communication and Information Technology, Food Processing, Pharma, Technology etc.
The trade between India and Iran has been growing during the past few years and the total two way trade during the financial year 2006-07 was estimated to the tune of $ 9.33 billion out of which Indian exports was $ 1.49 bn and Imports from Iran was 7.84.
Among the companies participating the CII delegation include BHEL, Ashok Leyland, TCE Consulting Engineering, Triveni Engineering Ltd, Thermax Ltd, Fleet Gaskets Pvt Ltd, LMJ International, Mungi Brothers, etc.
