Korean Hwa Seung aims to hike footwear production

The Well-known Korean Hwa Seung Corporation established a company in Vietnam naming Hwa Seung Vina, with an investment of US $90 million to produce sports shoes for two world renowned brands, including Adidas and Reebok.
To meet the rising demands from clients, the company collaborated with Long Hung JSC, located in Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province, to increase production of sports shoes.
Recently, the company expended another $5 million, to rev-up its production capacity of sports shoes for exports. Hwa Seung Vina plans to escalate its annual productivity up to 2 – 2.4 million pairs by 2009.
Hwa Seung engages nearly 14,000 workers at its shoe manufacturing plant in Nhon Trach industrial zone, Dong Nai Province.
