Govt institutes in urgent need of policy transformation - experts

Economists lament the fact that textile exports have deteriorated in the recent years. So much so that Bangladesh, a non-cotton producing country and a minuscule in textile trade, is set to achieve the same level of textile exports by 2013, as that projected by Pakistan.
All of the above calls for a serious consideration about restructuring the apex institutions. Unless this be done, Pakistan is unlikely to improve its economic status which is already lagging behind when compared to some of its neighboring countries.
