Consumer Price Index (CPI), during March 2008, resulted 102.4 per cent against December 2007 (December 07=100), signing an increase of 0.9 percent against the previous month.
The annual rate in March is 4.6 percent. A year earlier the rate was 2.7 percent.
The index of “non-alcoholic beverage” group signed an increase by 0.7 percent, having an impact by 0.3 percent point in monthly changes.
The index of “Clothing and footwear” group signed a decrease by 0.8 percent, having an impact by -0.04 percent point in monthly changes.
The index of “Transport” group signed an increase by 0.8 percent, having an impact by 0.05 percent point in monthly changes.
While the monthly price index changes in the other groups vary from + 0.1 per cent to + 0.3 percent.
