Guangdong & Jingjiang shoe leather sector to jointly solve problems

Recently, 18 shoes leather manufacturers from Guangdong Province visited Jingjiang city, located in Fujian Province. Both Guangdong and Jingjiang are the important shoe leather production bases in China.
Guangdong shoe leather industry focuses on the foreign markets, whereas, Jingjiang shoe leather industry concentrates on Chinese domestic market.
However, now, leather footwear industries in both regions are facing several similar problems and have decided to interact and cooperate to find solutions.
It has become important for both regions to shift productions bases to more efficient locations. Enterprises also need urgently formulate administrative as well as technical adjustments so as to meet the required international environmental standards.
During this meeting, both sides agreed that Southeast Asia and Central America were among the top suitable locations to set up the production bases. This move will also facilitate business and root out the obstacles in trade.
Most of enterprises suggested that the best way to upgarde environmental protection was to increase investment in the field.
