China has decided to carry out the new policy, called, 'the paid use of plastic shopping bags' from June 2008. This will create huge market and present limitless opportunities for Japanese eco-friendly shopping bags industry.
Several Chinese dealers have already begun to import huge number of these bags from Japan.
It has been noted that Japanese environmental-protection shopping bags have many advantages. These bags are not only beautiful and fashionable but also provide wide range of styles and patterns. The bags are washable, and boast colours and materials with high durability.
These hand-bags have also been found to be versatile. For instance, bags with zippers can be folded into small purses that go perfectly with evening wears.
Since Japan started concentrating on eco-friendly bags several years ago, it seems to have gained considerable mastery in this field, taking it way ahead of other countries.
