Inflation fails to weaken spirits of shopaholics

Even though Qatar is observing high inflation, it has not made any difference on the shopaholics. The shopping centers nationwide are over crowded with local as well as overseas customers who are buying goods the way they did before.

In order to attract buyers, the big and small shopping centers in Doha are offering discounts and prizes to increase their sale. It is generating a lot of curiosity among customers and especially amongst kids who now play a major role in selecting products for the household.

The shopkeepers generally witness high demand for various items during festivals and summer holidays. The most amazing thing is that people save money round the year to buy wide range of products right from cloths to footwear, home furnishing and electronic items at these times.

This year the demand for kids products that include ready made garments, bags and toys have increased in comparison to last year. At the same time, reduction in gold prices has led to the high demad for the same.
