With the aim to help the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) of Brunei to develop a powerful brand and branding strategy, the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources and Asia Inc Forum organized the SME Program Branding Forum and Workshop.

The basic objective was to help the country's business enterprises realize its vision for a more diversified, sustainable and competitive economy.

The workshop was organized in partnership with Baiduri Bank Berhad and the Brunei Economic Development Board. Besides, it also received the paramount support of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Brunei.

The forum would tremendously help the SMEs to come up with innovative ideas and to overcome challenges of branding in a competitive world. This generally requires giving the best possible prices for products and services and investing in research, product development and services that matches the standards and expectations of the global consumers.

Moreover, the SMEs also need to realize that differentiation is necessary not only in products but also in their delivery in order to ensure a sustainable operation.
