FDDI signs MoU with Italian association body

The delegation from Marche Region consisted of Mr. Gianni Giaccaglia, Regional Minister for Industry and International Relation, Mr. Roney Simon, Advisor, India Marche Desk, Ms. Paola Bellabona, Responsible for Asian Countries - Internationalization Unit. Ms. Nora Serrani, Officer European and International Projects from SVIM SVILUPPO MARCHE SpA Marche Region Development Agency was also the member of the high level delegation.
The member of the high level delegation had Ms. Barbara Toce, Board Member & Mr. Luca Tarquini, Project Manager from ASTERIA - Institute for Technological Development and Applied Research. From COSMOB The Wood & Furniture Technological Centre, Mr. Mario Fabbri, President was the member of the high level delegation.
The member of the high level delegation also had Mr. Mario Fabbri, Coordinator of Laboratories of Marche Region Technical Service Centers & Ms. Ilaria Balloriani, Project Manager from SCAM - Technical Service Centre for Shoes Sector.
From Polytechnic University of Marche, Mr. Fausto Pugnaloni, Dean of School of Architecture, University delegate for Asian Projects, Mr. Giovanni Issini, Teacher and Researcher at Architecture Department; Coordinator of research projects in Asian countries, Mr. Giulio Petti, Teacher and Researcher at Architecture Dept., Expert on Asian Architecture and Mr. Francesco Leoni, Coordinator of research and training on Design. Architecture Dept., were also the member of the high level delegation.
The delegation also gave a presentation & had a long discussion with the Managing Director. The delegation discussed in length to introduce synergy in the opportunities and advantages for both the organizations.
The delegation were highly impressed after visiting the International Testing Center of FDDI which has full-fledged Chemical and Physical Laboratories, where all kinds of chemical and physical tests like AZO, PCP; Formaldehyde etc. are performed within strict time schedules. The delegation also visited the pilot plant, library, classrooms, computer center etc.
The delegation was also impressed with the vision of FDDI's management, the facility, the infrastructure & services provided by FDDI to the industry.
Mr. Shashi Bhushan Shukla, IRS, Secretary FDDI, remarked "The amalgamation of the design, innovation and technological experience of Italy with Indian technology would be a renaissance in the production of high end fashionable products for which there is ever-increasing demand in the international market."
This strategic collaboration provides an excellent fit of strategy for developing innovative ideas & excellence in the area of collaborative programmes that are internationally and nationally recognized. Joint organization of national or international seminars, conferences and symposia's; cooperation and exchange of research material, publications and journals for advancement of knowledge capital will also be done.
