DHL has been recognised as one of the country's leading business brands according to the recently released 2009 'Superbrands' report.

The survey commissioned by Business Superbrands UK Ltd compiled the views of over 1500 business professionals to create this year's list of top 500 brands with DHL ranking an impressive 22. This result highlights that DHL is one of the leading brands in the UK express market and emphasizes the company's continued commitment to driving brand success.

Ken McCall, CEO DHL Express UK & Ireland said: “Being ranked in the top 5% of all UK business brands clearly demonstrates that DHL is one of the leading brands in its field. DHL Express UK works closely with businesses and consumers around the country and we recognise the importance of creating a strong brand presence throughout the UK.”

The report represents the country's most established and reputable brands, with strict criteria to determine a business' position in the official league table. Each company is judged on its commitment to quality products and services, trust and reliability, as well as the distinct personality and values that make the brand unique within its marketplace. The company is also assessed on brand perception which measures the appeal of the business among customers, opinion formers and employees.

With its extensive fleet of trucks, vans and airplanes DHL has built a strong brand presence throughout the UK over the past 35 years. DHL has a variety of products and services such as its 'DHL@Home' facility and its 'ServicePoints' which are popular with both businesses and consumers around the country.
