Overall export figures shoot up in March vis-à-vis February

According to customs statistics, in March this year, China-EU bilateral trade value reached US $26.45 billion, a year-on-year decline of 19.3 percent, but a growth of 21.2 percent from the previous month, accounting for 16.3 percent of China's total import and export value over the same period.
From which, China's exports to the EU scored $17.21 billion, down 20.2 percent year-on-year, but up 27.8 percent from the previous month; China's imports from the EU registered $9.24 billion, down 17.4 percent year-on-year, but up 10.5 percent from the previous month and trade surplus marked $7.97 billion.
Sino-US bilateral trade value realized $22.65 billion, down 12.6 percent year-on-year, but up 25.8 percent from the previous month. Of these, China's exports to the US reached $16.45 billion, down 12.6 percent y-o-y, but up 33.3 percent from February and imports touched $6.2 billion, down 12.7 percent y-o-y, but up 9.3 percent from last month.
Sino-Japanese bilateral trade value amounted to $17.52 billion, down 20.5 percent y-o-y, but up 19.1 percent from the previous month. Among them, exports achieved $8.04 billion, down 13.6 percent y-o-y, but up 36.7 percent from the previous month while, imports marked $9.48 billion, down 25.5 percent y-o-y, but up 7.3 percent from the previous month.
