First-ever three-day GIBM to be held in Munich

According to Mr. Martin Zeil, Minister of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology, State of Bavaria: “The government of Bavaria is delighted to co-host the inaugural Global India Business Meeting. Bavaria will serve as important base for Indian firms to explore the European market. Home to respected brands of global reach, Bavaria is the heart of the European hi-tech industries– a natural fit with India's emerging technology pioneers.”

Adds Mr. Frank-Jürgen Richter, President, Horasis: “The Global India Business Meeting will see the convergence of 250 top decision makers from business and government from India, Europe and the rest of the world. It will address the implications of the global economic crisis for India and reflect on the strategies of Indian and global firms strategies for the future.”

GIBM, a leadership event, follows the success of the Global China Business Meeting that has been held over the past three years by Horasis, an organisation that provides a unique platform for companies from emerging markets to globalize their organizations.
