Benetton Italy, one of the world's premier manufacturers of casual clothing, footwear and accessories, has chosen Kuehne + Nagel to provide integrated logistics services for its domestic retail operations in Russia.

The comprehensive service offered by Kuehne + Nagel ranges from forwarding of merchandise to Russia by road and air, import customs clearance, storage and order deliveries to the Italian brand's more than 150 shops throughout the country. In addition, Kuehne + Nagel is responsible for the provision of a series of value-added services.

"As one of the leading fashion retailers, we require a capable logistics provider with industry know-how and experience in Russia. Kuehne + Nagel has proved itself to be our trusted partner for ongoing growth in this market," said Valter De Santis, Global Head of Logistics for the Benetton Group.

"We are very pleased to have been chosen as the Russian logistics partner by Benetton. The contract is a confirmation of our competitive solutions in retail logistics. In order to ensure high service standards and quality, we have made significant investments into our systems, facilities and manpower.
