GLOBAL SHOES – leading trade show for sourcing is well geared up again. Around 360 exhibitors will be presented from 12 to 14 March in Halls 8a and 8b of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. Compared with the September event this is a 16% rise in exhibitor numbers. This means GLOBAL SHOES once again underlines its importance as a leading fair for OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and volume suppliers.

“After a turbulent year in 2009 things seem to be slowly brightening up somewhat in the global shoe business. Optimism is slowly returning,” explained Kirstin Deutelmoser, Director at GLOBAL SHOES.

“We are obviously particularly delighted that our exhibitors have once again opted for Düsseldorf. Manufacturers exhibit their lines at GLOBAL SHOES who otherwise hold back from other trade fair participations. They know that in Düsseldorf they can do real business. This is because all key European volume buyers attend GLOBAL SHOES.”

The around 360 exhibitors from 14 countries will once again be showcasing their wide range of women's, men's, children's and sports shoes through to casual and wellness lines. Commenting on this Kirstin Deutelmoser said: “GLOBAL SHOES is a representative reflection of the market for volume business. Virtually all key suppliers will be present here March.” Strong commercial suppliers for instance include: ER Generation (USA), Goldfoot (India), Beme and Pine Marketing (Singapore), Gaflana, Hong Kong Rossi, New York Group, Studio 56 and Y. Yessi(China), JC Concept, Madmad, as well as Megaluck (Malaysia).

The forthcoming GLOBAL SHOES – leading trade show for sourcing and GDS – International Event for Shoes & Accessories be held at Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre from 12 to 14 March 2010. Altogether approx. 1,120 exhibitors from 40 countries (correct as of 22/02/2010) will be presenting the latest shoe and bag styles.
