Launch of CII Cluster Programme at Courtyard by Marriott

CII is now organizing Cluster Programme scheduled on 27 April 2010 at Alishaan Hall I, Courtyard by Marriott, Ramdev Nagar Cross Road, Satellite Road, Ahmedabad.
CII - Cluster for Competitiveness has launched a unique cluster approach, to see the Indian MSMEs integrate into global supply chain. CII – Cluster programme commenced in 1998 with 10 vendor companies of Maruti Udyog Limited and since then the multiplier effect is evident, with more and more companies looking at the Cluster companies as 'role models'. The programme not only covers manufacturing sector but also in the sector of Tea gardens in East & School clusters in South. In all, there are 167 Clusters formed all over country impacting almost 1871 MSMEs.
CII Cluster Programme aims at further strengthening Gujarat small and medium enterprises and component suppliers to meet the requirements of global competitiveness with the fast changing environment. KHS Machinery Pvt. Ltd. has taken up an initiative to be a part of CII`s Cluster Programme for their vendors in Ahmedabad. This will help their vendors to understand how integration into global supply chain is done. The CII Cluster Programme, will benefit companies in critical areas of improving quality & productivity, waste elimination, break down reduction.
The Cluster Launch Inauguration will be done by Chief Guest, Hon`ble Minister Mr Saurabh Patel, Industries, Finance, Petrochemicals and Energy Department. Dr Johann Grabenweger, Global Production Chief, KHS Worldwide eminent professional and speaker from Germany who has developed MSME clusters across the globe will also speak on Cluster development taken place in Germany.
