Vibram introduces new trail and sky running soles

VIBRAM technical soles provide outdoor enthusiasts with high performance under safe conditions. New, ultra-light VIBRAM soles for 2010 are specially designed for trail running and skyrunning.
GARMONT Adventure, powered by VIBRAM G-Speed
The ultra-light Garmont Adventure shoe maximises running speeds on trails. The Anatomically Directed Design features respect the anatomy of the runner's foot. The shoe provides excellent protection and control at every step thanks to special flex zones in the outsole forefoot and the Tri-Axle technology. Two layers of dual-density EVA confer good shock absorption and stability in the heel.
The VIBRAM G-Speed sole made of the VIBRAM MultiTrek compound ensures excellent grip, particularly on muddy and rocky terrain. Sole thickness has been reduced to a strict minimum for precise contact with the ground and the MultiTraction tread provides 360° grip. The lines on the rubber sole, positioned from the toe to the heel, maximize propulsion when heading up and braking during descents.
MAMMUT Cyclone DLX, powered by VIBRAM Reptilia Compact, fast, light and safe: MAMMUT Cyclone DLX is a boot for the fastest on the mountain. The Cyclone DLX incorporates a whole range of innovations, from the three-part wedge sole to Base Fit lacing technology and 360° heel support TPU element. The new VIBRAM Reptilia sole was developed exclusively for the Mammut Cyclone DLX shoe. Its design was inspired by the claws of the lizard and the adhesive lamellae of the gecko. The lugs and lamallae of the VIBRAM Reptilia sole enhance performance and safety thanks to the outstanding grip on mountainous terrain.
