Japan-based Sanyo Shokai Ltd is set to increase its collection of men's leather shoes, made of leather brought from Italian tannery, Ilcea SpA. The leather shoe manufacturer has first time used the high-end leather from tannery Ilcea SpA and has launched its new version of R2010 under the Sanyo Yamacho brand.

The straight chip shoes in black are witnessing hordes of customers, as hue and softness of the leather, is attracting buyers in large numbers. This has so far offered 20 percent boost to the company's shoe sales.

The two dress shoe models R2010 and R309 will be manufactured by leather imported from Ilcea. Price of the R2010 model will be between 56,000 (US $616) - 76,000 ($836) yen and is narrower around the arch of the foot and heel for a better fit.

While, R309, a semi-square-toe type shoe, will be sold at 46,000 yen. Moreover, the same leather will also be used in mountaineering boots, which will be priced at 85,000 yen.

Sanyo Shokai will bring new R2010 in several varieties, including a second shade of brown. It also plans to increase designs, hues and models in its next spring collection in a bid to take benefit of this Italian leather so as to give an impetus to Sanyo Yamacho's brand image.
