Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), in association with ARS Sutoria, is organizing a seminar on 'Trend and Forecast on Footwear & Leather Goods - Autumn-Winter 2011-12' on September 27-28th, 2010 from 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM in its auditorium at Noida, India.
The seminar will be addressed by Ms. Orietta Pelizarri, Editorial Staff/ Trend Researcher and Mr. Roberto Gussoni, Senior faculty at ARS Sutoria, Italy.
“For attaining leadership in business, staying up-to-date on the latest market trends and technical information is the need of the hour in these days of cutthroat competition; hence FDDI is organizing this seminar in association with ARS Sutoria which will contribute significantly to the better global understanding of Trend and Forecast on Footwear & Leather Goods.” - Mr. Rajeev Lakhara, IRS, Managing Director, FDDI.
FDDI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ARS Sutoria, Milan, Italy as a cross-benefit to both the Institutes exists in the area of growth and development in international understanding and global knowledge for its faculty and students.
Sharing the details, Mr. Rajeev Lakhara, IRS, Managing Director, FDDI said “For attaining leadership in business, staying up-to-date on the latest market trends and technical information is the need of the hour in these days of cutthroat competition; hence FDDI is organizing this seminar in association with ARS Sutoria which will contribute significantly to the better global understanding of Trend and Forecast on Footwear & Leather Goods.”
ARS Sutoria, is the most prestigious school for the leather goods and footwear model design located in Milan - Italy, the world capital of clothing and leather fashion. It's renowned for the method of teaching with extensive knowledge of new CAD-CAM technology.
ARS Sutoria has core expertise in the area of trend research, interpretation of research based data and product designing backed with publication.
“This seminar will provide professionals with the tools and know-how necessary to work successfully both as designers and technicians”, elaborated Mr. Lakhara.
The seminar offers a forum for the professional exchange of knowledge and skills related to Avante garde Fashion & design concepts. Over 150 members are expected to be in attendance from all over India & Asia. They will have the opportunity to learn from these seasoned speakers via presentations including workshops, panels, and paper sessions.
It is expected that this novel step from FDDI & ARS Sutoria will prove to encourage creativity and tapping talent of the youngsters of today to experiment with creativity and innovation.
