Philippe de Beauvoir, Chairman of Le Bon Marché Group, will retire on October 12 after a long and brilliant career at the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH Group).

Bernard Arnault has expressed his warm thanks to Philippe de Beauvoir: “Philippe de Beauvoir has been instrumental in guiding the Group's development since he joined Le Bon Marché in 1988, particularly in upscale selective retailing in Paris. Thanks to his vision, his experience in selective retailing, his exacting professionalism and his creativity, he has overseen the transformation of Le Bon Marché into a unique concept store with strong cultural resonance, a distinctively innovative high-end department store which is recognized and admired around the world.”

Toni Belloni, Managing Director of LVMH, has announced the arrival of Patrice Wagner as Chairman of Le Bon Marché Group. Patrice Wagner will be appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Le Bon Marché at the Board of Directors meeting on October 12. He will report to Toni Belloni.

Toni Belloni stated: “We are delighted to welcome Patrice to the Group. His extensive international experience in luxury department stores will be a precious asset as Le Bon Marché Group pursues the development of its different businesses. Patrice will draw on the longstanding relationships he has nurtured with leading luxury brands, as well as his intimate understanding of the increasingly exacting expectations of our customers, in order to reinforce the leadership of our stores as benchmarks for innovation and service.”

Patrice Wagner received a degree in international trade in Toulouse. He began his career in 1990 with Breuninger as General Manager of the Karlsruhe department store. In 1998 he joined Galeries Lafayette as General Manager of the Berlin store. In 2002 he was appointed General Manager of KaDeWe Berlin, the largest department store in Continental Europe. Most recently, he was General Manager of the Karstadt Premium division.
