Shri Harish Rawat inaugurates National HR Conference

50 crores skilled manpower is to be created in the country, Shri Harish Rawat, Hon'ble Minister of State for Labour & Employment, Government of India said while inaugurating the conference at Hotel Grand, New Delhi. Shri Harish Rawat emphasized that inclusiveness is the key to growth in the country in the real sense.

This is the responsibility of the corporate and educational institutions to come together and work for creating 50 crore successful people in the country, the goal set by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India. He explained the real value behind Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme - a newly launched credit linked subsidy programme for generation of employment opportunities through establishment of micro enterprises in rural as well as urban areas.

Shri Rawat was speaking as Chief Guest at the inaugural session of the National HR Conference entitled “Transforming HR – Creating Value through People” organized by ACCMAN Institute of Management, Greater Noida. He further said that the spending towards social sector is lowest in India. He asked the corporates to spend more towards social responsibility. The mega conference was attended by large number of corporate HR professionals, academicians and students. Shri Harish Rawat also appreciated the efforts made by ACCMAN in organizing such conferences.

Guests of Honour at the conference were Dr. RP Singh, Vice Chairman & MD, Jindal Power, Shri P.S.Gill, COO, UB Group. Dr. R.P. Singh said that we must encourage competitiveness and critic, both are effective tools to re-correct ourselves towards successful growth.
