India to import Zambian leather

An Indian delegation led by Rafeeque Ahmed, Chairperson of the Farida group of companies has arrived in Zambia to buy leather products worth more than US$ 1 billion over the next five years.
The delegation expressed satisfaction with the quality of Zambian leather.
Seeing the increasing demand for leather made products in India, the delegation is also exploring the possibility of buying leather from other COMESA countries.
