Miroglio Group, an Italian firm that operates in the fashion and textile industries on a global scale, is showing its new fabric collection inspired by the four elements of nature; air, water, fire and earth, as Miroglio Textile spring/summer 2018 collection, at the ongoing Première Vision Fabrics, the premier fabric show, in Paris, in stand 5A.22- 5B.21.

The Italian company is also displaying a new creative project for the first time at Première Vision with its own display area: T-Brand, which is presenting a new concept developed in the Como district, in stand 5D.28-5E.25bis. T-BRAND is distinguished by its research and development of innovative products in terms of both fabrics and exclusivity of designs, with an offering ranging from the world of silks and silk blends to an extensive array of cottons, linens and linen blends.

The spring-summer 2018 capsule features a broad range of woven fabrics and jacquards, along with raw silk, linen, microfilament polyester, Lurex and silk organza false plains, all enhanced by special finishing. The prints - both digital and traditional - are distinguished by all-over designs or positioned patterns on fine bases, notably silk crêpe, Tussah silk, moire organza and silk jersey. The range is rounded off by technical fabrics, including cupro, stretch viscose and polyester. Three-dimensional and hand-painted effect printing techniques reinforce the range’s exclusive style.

Botticelli’s sinuous, elegant Venus inspires the Air theme distinguished by fine features and colouring with an ethereal effect. Lightweight, sheer, smooth and satiny fabrics interpret the Water theme, conceived for a fascinating, self-confident woman who conjures up the beauty revered by Petrarch in his most celebrated verse: “Clear, fresh, sweet water”.

With the Earth theme, the attention shifts to the social dimension of living, recalling the cross-contamination between cultures and nomadism. Echoes of ancient cultures, the scents of the East and gypsy music inspire prints on cottons, linens, jerseys.

The Fire theme is a celebration of the force of nature. Miroglio Textile’s printed fabrics move between golden camouflage-effect lapilli reminiscent of moss and lichen. (GK)
