UK textile mill Hainsworth will present its new collection of on trend bright shades which have been added to its successful Vivid Hues Melton range at The London Textile Fair this month.

“The colours include pops of cool cyan, vibrant fuchsia, fresh green grass, zesty citrus yellow and bright orange neon,” a Hainsworth press release said.

“Vivid Hues Meltons have an invitingly smooth finish due to an expertly tight weave and a heavily brushed nap and are perfect for jackets, coats and other outerwear garments,” it added.

Hainsworth is also introducing a new quality into its apparel range; Pioneer, which is inspired by the heavy protective overcoats favoured by explorers and pioneers on world changing exhibitions.

Hainsworth’s Pioneer is a tightly milled cloth with a beautiful lustre and drape, making it perfect for creating classic pieces with sharp lines, allowing the true essence of the original overcoat to live on.

Also new for the AW16/17 season is the company’s first ever trends shade card with key colour trends of the season for both menswear and womenswear.

Marketing manager Julie Greenough said, “We are delighted to be unveiling our new colours and new quality at what is the UK’s largest event for fashion fabrics.”

“We are working with an increasing number of fashion designers and our new trends shade card will also help show them how versatile our apparel fabrics are,” she too added.
.
“We are proud of our heritage and our craftsmanship, allowing us to work with some of the world’s dynamic fashion designers providing them with beautiful, timeless fabrics for their collections,” Greenough noted.

The London Textile Fair is UK’s premier platform for fashion fabrics and provides manufacturers with the opportunity to showcase their products to the most influential buyers and designers on the UK fashion scene.

Established in 2007, this year about 380 exhibitors and more than 5,000 visitors are expected to attend and is being held at The London Business Design Centre from July 15-16, 2015.

Hainsworth employs over 150 people at its mill in Pudsey, Yorkshire, and is the most prestigious vertical mill remaining in the country.

It exports worldwide to regions and countries like North America, Canada, Scandinavia, Russia, India, China, Japan, Australasia and South and North Africa.

Hainsworth was awarded a Royal Warrant in 2004 and its interior fabrics are used as curtains at Windsor Castle and for the interiors of Buckingham Palace. (AR)
