Heuritech has announced its exclusive partnership with Pantone, marrying the science of artificial intelligence and creativity of colours to bring latest colour trends to the fashion industry. The collaboration will deliver co-reports on colours so brands can stay up-to-date on colour trends in fashion industry which will be available on Heuritech website.

Since 2013, Heuritech has been dedicated to bringing the latest and most innovative technology to the fashion industry for leading brands worldwide including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Adidas, and Havaianas. Heuritech’s cutting-edge image recognition technology analyses 3 million images and videos each day on social media and can recognise more than 2000 of fashion details such as colours, textures, patterns, prints, etc. This unique approach and great volume of data gives brands valuable insights on trends up to one year in advance.

Pantone revolutionised colour standards in 1963 with its Pantone Matching System, a tool that has since become the universal language of colours for many industries. Over 10 million designers and producers globally rely on this system, permitting colour consistency across different media in graphics, fashion, and product design. This colour language is the reference for industries around the world to translate digital inspiration into physical realisation.

By associating Heuritech’s colour trends with Pantone’s colour references, clients can easily produce these colours in real life. From the moment a trend is digitally detected on social media by Heuritech to the time of production in factories, brands can speak a common language of colours with Pantone.

Marrying the expertise of colour and fashion data, Pantone is renowned worldwide for its expertise in colours and particularly its colour of the year. Heuritech combines the power of data and artificial intelligence to bring a quantitative analysis to colours in the fashion industry, enabling for the first time to quantify the volume of colours seen among consumers and influencers, as well as its adoption.

To master colour recognition, Heuritech has developed state-of-the-art colour detection capabilities on lifestyle pictures in order to get as close as possible to true colours (in spite of filters, shades, etc). The idea is to give a wide range of colour trends from macro to granular to fit the respective needs of fashion brands.

Also available will be a new moodboard platform to fuel designers’ creativity and visually explore colours with Pantone colour codes and Heuritech's image recognition technology.

Pantone will also provide an exclusive 15 per cent discount code and store link for Heuritech customers only which will be offered under request by email with one’s key account manager.

“We met Pantone in early 2020, and our partnership made immediate sense to us: bridging the gap between our image recognition technology and physical products through this unique partnership which we are very proud to sign today. The Pantone and Heuritech teams will be working hand in hand to deliver key insights on colours for merchandising and design,” said Célia Poncelin, chief marketing officer for Heuritech.

“We are very excited to announce our partnership with Heuritech, leveraging the synergy to bring the latest insights on colour trends for the fashion industry. We see this relationship as the perfect combination of art and science, colours and technology,” said Deepali Agarwal, head of EMEA marketing for Pantone.
