As part of its journey as a global, brand-led fashion company, Sweden-based Lindex has recruited Martin Cedergren as the new global creative director. Martin will work with the entire team and across all touchpoints to develop Lindex into an even stronger brand that can compete anywhere in the world. He will start his position at Lindex on September 1.

Martin is one of the world’s most awarded creative directors and will have a key role in taking the Lindex brand into the future, Lindex said in a media release.

Martin has a rich experience of working with global brands and leading agencies in both Sweden and the Netherlands. Over the years he has worked with global clients such as PepsiCo, Volvo Cars, Adidas, Nike, Google and Ikea. Many of his projects have gone on to win several of the absolutely most prestigious awards in the advertising industry.

“Like in so many industries, the customer needs are ever-changing and especially within fashion. It is more important than ever to stay relevant. Lindex is already on a great journey, as a beloved brand that empowers women in so many ways. I really look forward to becoming a part of this journey and work together with the creative teams to develop Lindex’s brand even more,” said Lindex’s new global creative director Martin Cedergren.

“Martin is a great blend of creativity, strategy and innovation. The world is evolving at such a rapid pace and we are in the middle of an exciting journey at Lindex. With his experience and mindset Martin will be a really strong addition to the Lindex team, and I look forward to having him join us in writing the next chapter for Lindex,” said Linda Olsson, director of global marketing at Lindex.
