The India International Jewellery Show from 14 to 18 July, 2005

Marching in tune with the spectacular strides taken by Indian jewellery manufacturers and the huge growth in the domestic market, IIJS 2005 promises to take the country's leading B2B show to an entirely new plane.
The NSE Complex (Bombay Exhibition Centre), Goregaon, is 15 minutes from the international/ domestic airports and just five minutes from the nearest railway station.It is situated on the Western Express Highway, which connects with downtown Mumbai in 45 minutes.
The show is certainly going to be much bigger - 1500 stalls spread out over 45,000 sq meter and an expected 35,000 visitors. It will also be better organised with product wise segmentation of the exhibitors. Yet the real advance over previous shows is not merely in terms of size, for there is going to be a special emphasis on raising the quality of the show.
On the exhibition floor itself, the first time ever creation of a few duplex stalls, it is hoped, will see an exponential increase in the uniqueness and extravagance of the presentations and display.
Product wise pavilions will ensure better integration and uniformity, and allow visitors to concentrate on the areas of specific interest to them. The proposed Fashion Week, Designer's Gallery and the Traditional Pavilion will each add their own special flavour.
To allow for a more focused exhibition experience, the three main halls will only house the jewellery exhibitors, as well as the machinery and allied stalls. Other related events like the seminars and workshops, as well as services like the cafeteria, offices of the GJEPC and the infrastructure providers will be situated separately.
