Vibrant Gujarat is shining with four-day jewelry exhibition, 'Jewel 2007' which began on Wednesday.
The sparkling celebration is organised by Gem & Jewellery Trade Council of India (GJTCI). The exhibition was inaugurated by Gujarat Education Minister, Anandi Patel.
The organizers are expecting visitors from China, Israel, UK, Singapore among other countries. The exhibition is expected to draw 4,000 visitors, including NRIs.
This will place the jewellery industry of Gujarat on the global map and increase its export business.
Out of the 32 stalls at Jewel 2007, 17 have been allotted to companies from Gujarat.
