Agra shoe exporters to partake in Italian Expo 'Riva Schuh'

Though Agra with about 200 footwear export units accounts for nearly half of the country's industrial strength, India still lags behind China in the world market.
To make a prominent mark in the global arena, 35 footwear exporters will participate at the 67th Expo Riva Schuh, the biggest international footwear trade fair, to be held in Riva del Garda, Trentino, Italy, from January 13 to 16, 2007.
The Agra Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters Chamber (AFMEC)will guide these exporters.
The footwear exporters will be presenting the 'Winter Collection' of footwear, both gents and ladies, including long boots.
AFMEC is anticipating that exporters from Agra will be able to bag major export orders from international clients through this expo.
The trend in the international footwear market is experiencing major changes and Agra exporters have designed their footwear which reflects the changing trends.
35 footwear exporters including prominent companies like Dawar Exports, Virola International, Metro & Metro, Leather Linkers and Gupta Overseas will be participating in the expo.
