Focus on Fashion by UU through STITCH

Internationally acclaimed fashion guru Paul Costello will be sharing the secrets of his success at an upcoming University of Ulster (UU) seminar.
Focus On Fashion, organised by UU through STITCH - its Fashion and Textiles Programme - will present a day of talks from top industry leaders followed by a catwalk show at the City Hotel.
Dublin-born Costello is one of the most established names in fashion and has been head of his own successful label for over 25 years.
Other speakers will include Ornella Bignami, Fashion Director Elementi Moda, who has over 20 years experience of fashion trend forecasting and Pat McCarthy, Design Consultant with clients including QVC and Avoca.
Professor Dolores O'Reilly, Head of the School of International Business at Magee said: “The school of International Business along with partners are absolutely delighted to be hosting such a prestigious event.
“We are thrilled that Paul Costelloe who opened the London Fashion earlier this month has agreed to be our keynote speaker and will share his fashion secrets with our own local designers. We are indebted to our funders North West Cross Border Region Group without whose support the STITCH programme could not have happened.”
Focus on Fashion will take place on Thursday 08 March at 9.30am in the City Hotel, Derry. Attendance is free but reservations are required.
STITCH is funded by the North West Cross Border Group in partnership with NWIFHE and LYIT.
