Dutch Fashion presents Joline Jolink A/W 07/08 collection

Dutch Fashion Foundation (DFF) presents Joline Jolink in New York. During the New York fashion week Joline Jolink pleasantly surprised the international fashion public that was leaving the Marc Jacobs show by presenting her latest collection with the project 'Renegade!' outside of the location.
Models in designs from the j o l i n e j o l i n k Autumn/Winter 2007-2008 collection conquered the cold and paraded around the sidewalk with the New York skyline as their background.
Joline Jolink chose the New York fashion week to draw attention to her label j o l i n e j o l i n k which was launched in Amsterdam in January 2006. Jolink has presented three prêt-a-porter collections in Amsterdam and Paris, and sells in several stores in the Netherlands.
She got acquainted with the New York fashion industry by participating in the Dutch Touch New York campaign organized by the Dutch Fashion Foundation in 2005 and 2006. Now, with a New York-based sales agency, her designs will soon be sold in several stores in New York and Los Angeles.
The j o l i n e j o l i n k autumn/winter 07/08 collection is inspired by the painting 'The Man with a Blue Quilted Sleeve' from Titian.
The painting inspired Joline Jolink in the collections' color, volume, and finishing. Joline's love for the 60's and 70's allows a focus on the waist to define the entire collection.
This definition results in a fresh and sophisticated image in off-white, black and blue. The collection is best described as girly, yet distinctively classy and well dressed.
