Jewellers Association Show -JAS 07 is all set to dazzle Jaipur with its aura of colours. The 80 year old Jewellers Association, Jaipur, promises to be worth all the wait. The gems and jewellery manufacturers and designers of Jaipur team up with jewellers and industry experts from around the world for the 4-day jewellery show to be held at Birla Auditorium and Convention Centre from 17th to 20th August 2007.

Inauguration of Jewellery Show on 17th of August at 10:30 AM at Birla Auditorium will be done by Honourable Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje Sciendia. In this show Industry Minister of Rajasthan Government Narpat Singh Rajvi, Chairman of Public Grievances Committee S.N. Gupta and Chairman of Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council Sanjay Kothari will be honourable guests.

The oldest body of jewellers in the city, the Jewellers Association was formed in the year 1927 to promote the Gems & Jewellery business in Jaipur. Under the direction of the present president, Mr. Vivek Kala, and the convenor, Mr. Nirmal Baradiya, the association is taking another leap towards bolstering the Jaipur gems and jewellery market.

The Pink City, which is already a global hub for colour stones, emeralds in particular, now is going to witness a show to be promoted by 2800 members.

Against originally planned 135 booths of Gem & jewellery now JAS 07 will have more than 180 booths, of which 150 will have jewellery booths and the remaining will be ofmachinery and trade publications. The venue, Birla Auditorium and convention centre is one of the best business convention centres in North India.
