National Institute of Fashion Technology, besides conducting regular professional undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Design, Management and Technology, also offers short duration part time courses under Continuing Education (CE).

These courses are designed by the reputed academicians and industry experts, helping and updating the people connected with the Fashion Industry who are always looking for keeping them self ahead of time.

Green Fashion is one such five days workshop starting from 15 th Feb'08 aiming at reviewing the evolution of green movement in fashion and the ways to work with sustainability issues of.

Hence its important for the garment and textile manufacturers , retailers and designers to update themselves and prepare for the coming environmental issues and concerns.

This workshop aims to discuss, deliberate and communicates the way in which the future trends evolve and manifest in the fashion and home markets mainly in USA and Europe in respect to 'green revolution'.

As we all are aware of one of the most alarming concerns to mankind is Global Warming and all the world industries are crafting solutions world wide in this direction, thus textile and fashion industry can not remain untouched.

Aim and Objectives:
- To understand design sustainability
- To understand limitations and application of organic design.
- Create awareness regarding resource management.
- Understand- Reduse /Reuse/Recycle.
