The 60th SIMM Salón Internacional de La Moda de Madrid began with the participation of 24 Brazilian companies through the Texbrasil Program, created by ABIT in partnership with Apex-Brasil. It will be held until July 19 in Spain with Brazil as the event's guest country.
On this first day of the fair (17), SIMM received the visit of the Princess of Astúria, Letizia Ortiz, who was welcomed at the ABIT/Apex-Brasil stand by Texbrasil Program manager, Rafael Cervone Netto.
She was especially interested in the exhibit of Brazilian pieces in the lounge and the space's design, which received support from ABIHPEC Brazilian Perfume, Cosmetics and Personal Hygiene Industry Association, Brazilian Beauty, BM&A Brazil Music and Art, Brazilian Fruit Cosmetics, from Guaraná Antarctica Brasil and from IBGM – Brazilian Institute of Gems and Precious Metals.
Another important Brazilian action at the Fair was holding a fashion show only with the country's brands where companies participating via Texbrasil presented their launches and key pieces to visitors.
