IBGM & CCAB jointly to organize 'Jewellery Arabia' fair

Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CCAB) Information channel the Brazil-Arab News Agency reported that the 14th edition of Jewellery Arabia, one of the largest jewellery fairs in the Middle East, which begins today (23) in Manama, the Bahraini capital, is going to include the presence of four Brazilian companies.

Company participation in the fair was organized by the Brazilian Institute of Gems and Precious Metals (IBGM), with the support of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. The jewelry fair will go on up to November 27.
Of the four Brazilian companies, three have already participated in previous editions. In the case of Vancox, a jeweller from the southeastern Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, for example, this is the fifth participation. Company director Ricardo Bronfen stated that Arab women place great value on jewellery and like diamonds and Brazilian gems. Vancox, which already has customers in the region, also exports to the United States, Europe and Japan.
Another company that is anxious for the beginning of the fair is Fiamma, also from Minas Gerais. "My expectations regarding the fair are very large," stated the company designer and director, Anna Vitória Motta e Motta, who is already in Bahrain and has meetings scheduled with clients in the region. According to her, Fiamma sales to the Arab market may rise at least 20% after participation in the fair.
