Fashion Trade Centre unveils in Bangkok

Bangkok Fashion Trend Center is the first high-tech library in Thailand dedicated only to information of fashion and clothing design.
This is a one stop of advanced information including international fashion and clothing, textile and garment manufacturing, footwear, leatherwear, gems and jewellery.
Largest of its breed in Asia, this centre is part of the Bangkok Fashion City project sponsored by the Royal Thai Government to support fashion and apparel brands of Thailand.
This library is entirely new service, but it is an essential source of information for students, researchers and industry leaders to find international standards, come up to global design and manufacturing trends, said Pramote Wittayasuk, Director General of the Thailand's Department of Industrial Promotion and chairman of the Bangkok Fashion City project.
Moreover, the centre also caters critical international fashion and apparel publications for those designers who cannot afford to subscribe these magazines, said Wittayasuk.
