Deepika Padukone, the reigning Bollywood diva known for her exquisite sartorial choices, has turned designer for the Manhattan-based PVH Corp-owned sub label Van Heusen.

The 27-year-old Indian actress has co-created a limited edition line of chic old Hollywood glamour style dresses and accessories with the fashion brand.

Based on a monochromatic palette of dusty rose pink, cobalt blue, black and white, the range features tube dresses, sequined sheaths, one-shouldered numbers and asymmetrical pieces.

Van Heusen’s parent company PVH Corp, considered to be one of the world’s largest shirt makers, was founded in the year 1876.

In addition to Van Heusen, PVH Corp also owns brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Izod, Arrow and G. H. Bass.
