Zac Posen's affordable bridalwear with David's Bridal

American fashion designer Zac Posen has partnered with the famous purveyor of wedding fashions, David's Bridal, to launch a collection of affordable bridal gowns.

Scheduled to hit stores from February 6, 2014 onwards, the range titled Truly Zac Posen will feature seven sumptuous wedding dresses and ten Hollywood red-carpet style eveningwear.

Available in sizes 0 to 26, the bridalwear pieces include fit-and-flare Chantilly lace veiled satin gowns teamed with pearl-embellished strapless corsets and tulle dresses with lace overlays.

The eveningwear collection, from size 0 to 14, features a mermaid style number with body contouring pleats and the 33-year-old designer’s signature petal-detailed jacquard fabric bodice ensemble.

The range also showcases a crinkle chiffon V-necklined partywear piece with satin buttons and a lacy organza dress adorned with lace appliqués.

Based in New York, Zac Posen is an alumnus of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London.

Founded in 1950, David’s Bridal is one of the largest American bridal-store chains with over 300 outlets spread across 45 US states, Canada and Puerto Rico.
