Spanish football captain Casillas unveils fashion line

Iker Casillas, the Spanish national football team captain and goal keeper, is the latest soccer player to own a clothing line.

The 33-year-old athlete has recently launched his first-ever fashion range titled 1K, which aims to support the projects carried out by his namesake charitable foundation.

The designer shared a glimpse of the collection, which featured a black coloured round neck shirt emblazoned with the symbol of the label 1K in neon blue, on his social media pages.

The footballer also mentioned on Twitter and Facebook that he has been working on the range for a very long time and the sales from the T-shirts will aid his charity, which is dedicated to the welfare of children around the world.

In addition to Casillas, other famous soccer players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, David Beckham and Neymar also have clothing lines.

The football goalkeeper Iker Casillas plays for both La Liga club Real Madrid and the Spanish national team. He was a key player in his country’s victories in the UEFA European Championship in 2008 and 2012 and was one of the Spanish heroes in the FIFA World Cup in South Africa in 2010.
