In order to know the opinion of Indian market experts, Fibre2fashion contacted Mr Gurbir Singh Gulati, Communication Manager, UP Market Brands who stated, “Indian apparel market is very well diversified today, especially in the men's apparel business, there has been a remarkable overall success rate, when compared to any other category which is still at a developing stage in the country.
“So if Gieves & Hawkes are planning their entry into the Indian market they will definitely bring a good learning principle in the industry. Indian Consumer have inclination towards foreign label, thus the response will surely be positive.”
