ispo summer 05 begins Sunday in Munich

Spring-Summer 2006 sporting goods, clothing and accessories collections, along with the future direction of the sports trade will be the focus of the sports world beginning Sunday, when ispo summer 05 takes place in Munich, Germany.)

ispo summer 05 is the world's largest summer sporting goods trade fair. More than 25,000 retail and sports business visitors are expected to view the products showcased by 1,049 exhibitors representing more than a dozen different sports. The show runs through Tuesday, July 5 at the New Munich Trade Fair Center.

Among the sports represented by equipment, clothing, accessories and footwear at ispo summer 05 are: Climbing, mountaineering, hiking, Nordic walking, cycling, mountain biking, running, tennis, racket sports, soccer, surfing, skateboarding, wakeboarding, kiteboarding, in-line skating, triathlon, and more.

Coverage highlights of ispo summer 05 will include:

- New Products: Hundreds of new products will be unveiled at ispo summer 05, along with the new Spring-Summer 2006 product lines. The new products will be making their global debuts in the sports trade.

- Footwear: The newest, most diverse sports and sports-inspired fashion footwear will be on display at ispo summer 05, bringing increased functionality and technical proficiency along with looks.

- Nordic Fitness: Europe's growing Nordic Fitness rage, one of the world's foremost fitness movements, is celebrated at outdoor_ispo by twoactivities. The Nordic Village at ispo brings together six leading Scandinavian companies and their products, while the ispo Cross Road is a two-person Nordic running and Nordic walking race held within the Main Atrium. Olympic icon Rosi Mittermaier will be participating in the ispo Cross Road.
