Liberty to set up shoe manufacturing plant in Uttranchal

Leather footwear manufacturer Liberty Shoes Ltd informed that the company will invest Rs 20 crore for setting up new footwear manufacturing facilities at Uttranchal.
The Board of Directors (BOD) has approved the setting up of footwear manufacturing facilities at Uttranchal with capacity to manufacture 12 lakh pairs per annum.
The BOD has also approved the setting up of company's ancillary units for manufacturing of shoe components and shoe accessories and authorized the officials for exploring the possibility of restructuring of the company, in order to increase the shareholders wealth, it said.
The company will also avail the additional working capital limit sanctioned by the Corporation Bank, it added.
