K G Denim sets off 'Trigger'

In a bid to strengthen its jeans brand 'Trigger', the Rs247-crore
K G Denim
Group has carried out a restructuring exercise.
It will include branded business and retail outlets business under Trigger Apparels, informed B Sriramulu, Managing Director, K G Denim.
With recent increase in plant capacity, the company wants to raise Trigger's turnover from Rs40 crore to Rs70 crore for the year ending June '06.
Company also wants to increase its presence by entering kids and womens Western wear market, said Rajah Gopallan N, Vice President, Trigger.
To capture potential US market, company has launched a wholly-owned subsidiary KG Denim, USA.
The KG Denim, which exports over 50 percent of its production, will now stress on fabrics business where it has strong market presence.
