Chanel to enter Russian fashion arena

High-end French fashion house, Chanel is scheduled to start its operations in Russia luxury markets opening its first stand alone store in Moscow, this summer.
Ever growing Russian luxury markets are set to expand more than 7 percent in sales by 2009.
Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel (August 19, 1883 - January 10, 1971), the spirit behind Coco Chanel opened her first millinery shop in 1912, and by the 1920s, Coco Chanel (Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel) fame expanded to become one of the premier fashion designers in Paris, France.
Replacing the corset with comfort and casual elegance, Coco Chanel fashion themes included simple suits and dresses, women's trousers, costume jewelry, perfume and textiles.
